This entirely original and unique experiential environment for Virgin Atlantic airlines was built for London Cocktail Week Village.
The ‘Cocktails in the Clouds’ activation was a typically bold move for Virgin. The airline was one of the few brands present without a specific grounding in the drinks industry. Its pop-up cocktail bar could not disappoint.
Designed by our in-house studio, the exterior structure with its glass frontage resembled an airline first-class lounge, while the inside presented a glossy pink version of a jumbo jet cabin. The distinctive curved bar was specially made for the occasion in our central London workshops. Unique pieces of vinyl presenting the bespoke cocktail list by Soulshakers were measured, printed and tested in-house too.
Virgin Atlantic turned to Made Up to realise its inaugural London Cocktail Week experience partly due to our Campaign Event Awards nomination for ‘Best Production Experience’ based on our work for the previous years Cocktail Week. Four major activations at the event were handled entirely by Made Up.
